Most people might be challenged to take archival letters and turn them into public art. Not Valerie Wedel. The Columbia installation artist has found a series of letters at the State Historical Society of Missouri that are inspiring her.
In a recent KOPN radio interview, Wedel read from letters across time. This correspondence from a range of Missourians will likely inform a future installation that the William Woods art professor is planning.
